If this fits in with your spending plan and you would like to work with us we will request a design fee and proceed to the design stage.
Designing your kitchen is something we will do fully in collaboration with you. We work with clients on the design until everyone is happy with the final drawings and our firm quote (which rarely varies by more than 10% of your estimate).
When we provide you with a final quote for your project, we will include a price for installation. Our Birkwood cabinet makers undertake the installations as there is no-one better placed to fit your kitchen than the same person who made it. However, if you have a preferred fitter, we can quote for delivery only.
Because we lay out your kitchen or furniture in our workshop exactly how it will be in your room, installations are swift and precise. We are happy to liaise and co-ordinate with your chosen tradespeople – plumber, electrician, decorator etc – to make installation as seamless as possible. In general, a Birkwood kitchen will take between 3-5 days to fit and wardrobes, bookcases etc just a day.
We undertake projects throughout Scotland and will occasionally consider commissions from other parts of the U.K., please enquire for more information.

A quick note on the type of work we take on
At Birkwood, we specialise in bespoke kitchens and full rooms of fitted furniture, designed and made to order in our Highland Perthshire workshop. Our projects are typically part of considered renovations or new-build homes, or involve substantial standalone pieces where design, scale and detailing are central to the brief.
