Appliances play a significant role in the structure and proportions of a kitchen. Their dimensions and integration requirements are considered carefully at design stage, ensuring the cabinetry is built precisely around them.

At Birkwood, we focus on designing and making the kitchen itself. Appliances are purchased directly by our clients, usually through our trusted retail partner, allowing you to benefit from specialist knowledge, competitive pricing and full manufacturer support.

All integrated appliances are delivered to our workshop ahead of installation and pre-fitted into the cabinetry here. This ensures accurate alignment and detailing before the kitchen is transported to site, resulting in a smoother and more controlled installation process. It also removes the need for clients to store large appliances at home while waiting for fitting.

We work closely with Hosies, an established Tayside appliance retailer. They coordinate directly with us, hold appliances until required and deliver at the appropriate stage of manufacture, ensuring warranties commence at the correct time.
