Jenny and David's Study

A warm, enveloping study room lined entirely in walnut-veneered birch plywood.

The cabinetry and wall panelling are formed from the same material, creating continuity and a strong architectural presence throughout the space. Black laminate interiors provide contrast within the cupboards, adding depth and precision to the detailing.

Black shadow gaps have been introduced deliberately between panels, allowing the variation in walnut grain to be appreciated while keeping the composition ordered and defined. The result is cohesive without feeling monolithic — richly toned yet carefully controlled.

Substantial, tactile and quietly confident, this study demonstrates how material consistency and disciplined detailing can transform a room into a focused and immersive working environment.
