Clare & Edward’s kitchen is a compact but carefully planned space, designed to make the most of its L-shaped layout and central island while remaining calm and uncluttered.

A pocket-sliding breakfast larder sits neatly beside the fridge freezer, allowing everyday essentials to be close at hand but easily concealed when not in use. Storage has been considered throughout, ensuring the kitchen works hard without feeling crowded.

The island provides both preparation space and informal seating, with stools that slide away neatly when not required. Ice-blue Minerva composite worktops introduce a soft wash of colour, chosen for their durability, easy maintenance and clean, contemporary feel.

Personal touches are woven into the cabinetry, including a discreet gin cabinet at the gable end of the sink run and a built-in bookcase at the end of the island — both designed to be enjoyed from the adjoining open-plan dining and living space.
