Helen and John's Kitchen
Helen & John’s kitchen sits within a classic Glasgow tenement, where high ceilings, deep window reveals and architectural alcoves shape the character of the room.
The design works with these original features rather than against them, using bespoke cabinetry to fill nooks and recesses with purpose-built storage. Every awkward corner has been considered, ensuring the space feels intentional and cohesive rather than improvised.
As a north-facing room, colour has been introduced thoughtfully to lift and warm the space, bringing light and energy without overwhelming the architecture. Birch plywood cabinetry provides the structural backbone, with carefully chosen finishes adding depth and contrast.
A kitchen that respects its tenement setting while introducing clarity, brightness and carefully resolved detail — bespoke in the truest sense, shaped entirely around the room it inhabits.
