Jackie’s Kitchen

Jackie’s kitchen sits at the heart of a striking new-build home, set within a dramatic double-height space with far-reaching views across open countryside. Designed as a room to move through and live in, it combines generous proportions with finely detailed cabinetry.

Lacquered birch plywood is paired with two carefully chosen Formica colours, bringing depth and richness to the space while allowing the architecture and light to take centre stage. Terrazzo worktops from Minerva add texture and durability, grounding the palette with a quietly confident finish.

At the centre of the room sits a large island built around a downdraft hob, incorporating one of our signature patchwork cabinets. This generous, asymmetric multi-purpose unit brings together storage, prep space and personality in a single, cohesive form. Jackie’s own coloured chopping boards are neatly slotted into the cabinetry, adding a personal and practical detail within the overall composition.

A joyful but highly functional kitchen — carefully considered, confidently colourful, and designed to be lived in every day.
